Three footballing legends celebrate the grand opening of the TDECU Woodlands Member Center
THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Texas Dow Employees Credit Union (TDECU) recently held a grand opening ceremony and ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new Market Street location. Now only a sizeable crowd showed up for live music, refreshments, raffles, tours and information, but there was another raffle that scored a touchdown for the attendees. Football legends Warren Moon, Vince Young and Andre Ware were the guests of honour.

Michael O’Neill, Director of Public Relations for TDECU. Isaac Johnson, President and CEO of TDECU, was on hand for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and also received special recognition from JJ Hollie, President and CEO of the Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce. After the tape was cut, Patti Smith, vice president of communications for the Houston Sports Authority, introduced and passed the microphone to former Houston Oilers quarterback Warren Moon, 1989 Heisman Trophy winner and former quarterback Houston Cougar Andre Ware, and former quarterback for the Tennessee Titans. Although the name of the credit union is named after a particular company, you can become a member and open an account simply by living, working or worshiping in The Woodlands.
“This branch is officially known as Woodlands Six Pines Member Center,” O’Neill said. This represents our new design; instead of walking to a cashier separated from you by thick glass, we actually have chairs where people can sit with our team members and talk about their financial needs and travels. The cozy interior also includes a large seating area and a cafe-bar.
O’Neill invites Woodlands-area residents to visit the new office at 9595 Six Pines Drive, just off the HEB at Market Street.
