BOSTON – Graduate student forward Sukhmail Mathon recorded his sixth double-double of the season with a career-high 21 points and 18 rebounds to lead Boston University to a 63-61 victory over Bucknell at Case Gym.
* Mathon scored the Terriers’ last three points at the free throw line and put in a rebound that sealed the game with two seconds left to fend off a 9-3 Bison run.
* Terriers graduate guard Javante McCoy finished with 17 points and four rebounds, while senior forward Walter Whyte returned to the lineup with 10 points and eight rebounds after an eight-game absence.
* Bucknell senior guard Andrew Funk scored a high 25 points on 11 of 21 shots from the ground to lead the Bison.
* Second-year center Andre Screen finished with 10 points, seven rebounds and three blocks, while second-year forward Josh Adoh finished with 10 points and four rebounds.

WEST POINT, NY –West Point Army sophomore guard Jalen Rucker scored four of his team-high 21 points in overtime to help the Black Knights hold off Loyola Maryland in a 77- 74 in the League opener at Christl Arena.
* Rucker added three rebounds, two assists and two steals, while senior guard Josh Caldwell posted 16 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals to lead the Black Knights.
* Loyola Maryland junior goaltender Cam Spencer finished with a record 26 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals.
* Spencer brought the Greyhounds back from an 18-point second-half deficit, scoring a 3-point draw when regulation time expired.
* Senior guard Kenny Jones finished with 11 points and nine assists, while first-year forward Milos Ilic added 10 points and seven boards for the Greyhounds.

WORCESTER, Mass. –Senior Navy guard Greg Summers scored 20 points, a game-high, and had five rebounds to lead the Navy to a 70-56 victory at Holy Cross in their League opener.
* Summers connected on 12 of 15 from the free throw line, and junior forward Jaylen Walker contributed 13 points and nine rebounds, a game-high.
* Mids senior guard John Carter Jr. finished with 12 of 4 of 7 shots from the ground, including 3 of 3 from beyond the arc.
* The Mids took advantage of 17 Crusaders turnovers, turning them into 14 points.
* Senior forward Gerrale Gates led the Crusaders with 17 points with three rebounds and three assists, while second-year guard Judson Martindale finished with 12 points and seven rebounds.

WASHINGTON –Lehigh junior goaltender Evan Taylor scored a career-high 25 points on 10 of 16 shots from the floor to lead the Mountain Hawks to a 63-61 win in the United States to open the league game.
* The Mountain Hawks trailed up to 19 points in the first half, but shot 51.7% from the ground in the second half to fight back.
* First-year goaltender Keith Higgins Jr. finished with 13 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals, while senior center Nic Lynch added 12 points and six rebounds to facilitate the return.
* Freshman guard Elijah Stephens led four double-digit Eagles with a career-high 18 points, including five in the final 34 seconds of play.
* Second-year forward Johnny O’Neil posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, as well as three blocks and two steals. Senior guard Jaxon Knotek added 12 points and second-year guard Lorenzo Donadio finished with 10 points.
* The American played without three starters, including senior goaltender Stacy Beckton Jr., senior forward Connor Nelson and second-year goaltender Colin Smalls.

EASTON, Pennsylvania. – The Patriot League men’s basketball game between Lafayette and Colgate has been postponed due to COVID protocols within Lafayette’s men’s basketball program. The game between the Leopards and the Raiders will be rescheduled after discussions with the two schools and the League office.
