Nuvei will add betting on events in Arizona, more

A subsidiary of the global payments technology platform Nuvei Corporation now has an event and fantasy sports betting provider license in Arizona, following the legalization of online sports betting in the state in April and the launch of regulated sports betting and sports betting applications in September, according to a Liberation press.

Arizona officials estimate that sports betting will be worth more than $ 3 billion a year and could generate $ 200 million in gambling revenue for the state, the statement said.

Arizona Department of Gaming approval allows Nuvei to expand its online sports betting footprint in the United States into another state. The company obtained an online gaming service provider registration in Connecticut in October, according to a separate press release.

Also in October, Dutch state-owned company Holland Casino selected Nuvei to provide “customized solutions for player acquisition, verification and payment through a single integration” for the country’s leading online casino.
