Mid Oregon Credit Union Launches Annual School Supply Drive

BEND, Oregon (KTVZ) – The Mid Oregon Credit Union has launched its annual Supplies 4 Schools campaign that supports students in need in central Oregon.

Mid Oregon collects school supplies and cash donations from members and the community throughout August at its seven branches in Bend, La Pine, Madras, Redmond, Prineville and Sisters. Mid Oregon members can also donate online at midoregon.com. For a wish list of school supplies visit the Mid Oregon Community webpage https://www.midoregon.com/about/community.shtml.

Supplies 4 School donations and funds stay in the local communities where they are collected. Mid Oregon is partnering with Family Access Network and school districts to distribute supplies to students in Deschutes, Crook and Jefferson counties who don’t have what it takes to be successful in school.

Last year, Mid Oregon 4’s school supplies drive raised $ 2,725, in addition to donated supplies, for students in central Oregon.

“We’ve been through tough times and many local families need help outfitting their kids for the school year,” says Kyle Frick, vice president of marketing and community relations for Mid Oregon Credit Union. “We hope that our members and the community will continue the tradition of giving generously to this cause. “
